Archipelago Holdings Releases May 2005 Transaction Volume Data

Archipelago Holdings, Inc. (PCX: AX) today announced its May 2005 market transaction volume data for the Archipelago Exchange (ArcaEx(R)). Specifically, in NYSE- listed equity securities, ArcaEx's total trading market share was 3.4% in May 2005, up from 1.4% in May 2004 and up from 3.2% in April 2005.

Borsa Italiana has carried out research on pre and post Ipo performance of the 127 mid & small caps that went public on the Italian equity market between 1995 and 2002. The study has taken a close look at the reaction and conduct of companies by focusing on the main financial ratios and a survey has also been carried out addressing company owners and their management.

The Spanish Exchanges Launch The Ibex Medium Cap® And Ibex Small Cap® Indices - The Indices, Which Will Be Replicable And Investable, Will Be Calculated As Of July 1st - BME Will Host The First Medium And Small Capitalisation Companies Forum

The Spanish Stock Exchanges, integrated into the BME Group, will launch two new investable indices - IBEX MEDIUM CAP® and IBEX SMALL CAP® - which will track the performance of medium and small capitalisation companies. The calculation and real time dissemination of the new indices will start as from July, 1st.
