RTS Stock Exchange Order-Driven Market: May 2005 Results

In May 2005 total trading volume on the JSC "RTS Stock Exchange" equaled 10 640 million rubles compared with 14 931 million rubles in April. The second-tier stock turnover equaled 6 605,5 million rubles, 62,13% of the total trading volume.

NASD Charges Gunnallen Broker With Threatening Public Company - Broker Attempted To Extort Inside Information With Threat To Drive Down Stock Price

NASD announced today that it has charged Shawn Aaron, a stockbroker with Gunnallen Financial, Inc., in Tampa, FL, with attempting to extort and intimidate Optelecom-NKF, Inc. ("OPTC"), a Nasdaq SmallCap company. NASD charged that Aaron threatened to drive down the price of the company's stock from about $13 to $6 per share unless it provided him with confidential business information.
