    In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on August 12, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

    The Board of the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange, part of the Euronext Group N.V., has announced the appointment of Andre Villeneuve, (58), as its new non-executive Chairman with immediate effect. Mr. Villeneuve was previously Executive Chairman of Instinet, the world's largest electronic agency broker of equities.

    The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that equity volume in July increased 8.44% when 275,446,763 shares traded as compared to the same year-ago period when 253,998,608 shares traded. Equity volume decreased 6.11% compared to the previous month when 293,369,612 shares traded.
