    The total turnover statistics show that a volume of 337.9 billion EURO was traded on the German stock exchanges in October, 23 percent less than in October 1998.     On October 1 this year trading hours on the OM Stockholm Exchange and the OM London Exchange were extended by one hour. Equity and derivatives trading now opens at CET 9.30 am instead of 10 am, and trading now closes at the later time of CET 5.30 pm as opposed to 5 pm.
