Porsche AG withdrew its application for admission to the Prime Standard of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB ) on Monday. The company will therefore remain in the General Standard of the official market of the FWB. Deutsche Börse emphasized that the Prime Standard would be an option for Porsche if the company were to meet the transparency standards. Deutsche Börse AG continued to increase earnings year-on-year in the third quarter. At €109.8 million, earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were up on Q3/2003 (€109.1 million). Sales revenue totalled € 347.1 million (Q3/2003: €362.9 million) and the company generated a further €15.9 million from net interest income from the banking business in the third quarter. Copenhagen Stock Exchange Increases Financial Results By 22 Per Cent On 2003

Today, the Copenhagen Stock Exchange published its Q3 interim report for 2004, which shows a consolidated profit after tax of DKK 54.5 million for the first nine months of the year, up from DKK 44.8 million in the same period in 2003. Operating profit for the first nine months of the year totalled DKK 73.7 million, which corresponds to a rise of just under 26 per cent.

CME Eurodollar Futures On CME Globex(R) And eFX Volume Achieve New Records

CME, the largest U.S. futures exchange, today announced that electronic trading achieved a new trading record of 3.7 million contracts, excluding its non-traditional TRAKRS products, on Friday, November 5. This was the second time the exchange traded more than three million contracts in a single day electronically, the last time being 3.5 million contracts traded on August 6, 2004.

CMDF-Bursa Malaysia Research Scheme Gets RM7.5 Million Grant To Promote Research Coverage On Small Capitalised Stocks

Bursa Malaysia Berhad received a grant of RM7.5 million from the Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF) for the CMDF-Bursa Malaysia Research Scheme. The scheme which is scheduled to be implemented in January 2005 is aimed at promoting research coverage on listed companies, particularly the smaller capitalized stocks, as part of the initiatives of the exchange to enhance market liquidity.

In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on November 10, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

CBOT Experiences Second Highest Trading Day Volume - CBOT's Electronic Trading Platform Sets New Record

The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) announced today that on Friday, November 5, 2004, the exchange traded 4,324,024 contracts, the second highest total volume for a single trading session in exchange history. Of that total, 2,909,227 contracts were traded electronically, a new electronic volume record that surpassed the previous high of 2,473,584 contracts set on August 31, 2004. In addition, CBOT futures and options each set electronic trading volume records.
