The CFTC And The Superintendencia De Valores Y Seguros De Chile

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the Superintendencia de Valores y Seguros de Chile (SVS), the Chilean commodities regulator, on September 12, 2002, entered into a Memorandum of Understanding regarding futures regulatory cooperation, and the provision of technical assistance (MOU). CFTC Chairman James E. Newsome and Chairman Alvaro Clarke of the SVS signed the MOU at CFTC headquarters in Washington, D.C.

S&P/TSX Canadian Indices - S&P/TSX Composite Index Quarterly Review

Standard & Poor's wishes to announce that the results from the S&P/TSX Composite Index Quarterly Review will be released after the close of business on Monday, September 16, 2002. This is pursuant to index methodology, which states that the results of the Quarterly Review shall be announced within the first 10 business days of the month. The management of Euronext Amsterdam has been informed on the fact that Aino N.V. has a negative equity. The management of Euronext Amsterdam has decided to impose a listing measure on Aino N.V. as of Monday 16 September 2002, according to article 65, lid 2 sub a of the Listing and Issuing Rules (suspension of official listing).

CME Continues To Post Record Open Interest

For the second consecutive session, exchange-wide open interest on Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc. (CME) reached a record 20,268,225 positions yesterday, Sept. 12, surpassing the previous record of 20,199,000 set on Sept. 11.
