- The IC2509 CSI 500 index futures contract is scheduled to be listed on January 20, 2025 at the listing benchmark price of 5458.6.
- The IM2509 CSI 1000 index futures contract is scheduled to be listed on January 20, 2025 at the listing benchmark price of 5665.4.
- The IH2509 SSE 50 index futures contract is scheduled to be listed on January 20, 2025 at the listing benchmark price of 2589.6.

To improve the functioning of the futures and options markets, and better serve the real economy, the Shanghai International Energy Exchange (“INE”) now accepts applications for new market makers for relevant INE futures and options products in accordance with the Market-Making Management Rules of the Shanghai International Energy Exchange. Japan Securities And Exchange Surveillance Commission: Recommendation For Administrative Monetary Penalty Payment Order For Insider Trading In Shares Of Demae-Can Co., Ltd. By An Individual Residing Abroad

The Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission today made a recommendation to the Prime Minister and the Commissioner of the Financial Services Agency that an administrative monetary penalty payment order be issued in regard to insider trading in the stock of Demae-can Co., Ltd. by an individual residing abroad pursuant to Article 20(1) of the Act for Establishment of the Financial Services Agency. This recommendation is based on the findings of an investigation into a suspected instance of insider trading, whereby the following violation of laws and ordinances was identified.

At the seminar “Hong Kong Capital Market – The Future of GEM” organised by the Association of Hong Kong Capital Market Practitioners, Dr Kelvin Wong, Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), delivered a keynote speech entitled “Enhancing Sponsors’ Value Proposition to Drive GEM Advancement”. He emphasised the importance of GEM to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and Hong Kong’s listing market development. He also discussed how the sponsors of initial public offerings (IPOs) should enhance their value proposition by leveraging their unique roles to strengthen the corporate governance and resilience of companies for their longer term success.

- IF2501 CSI 300 index futures contracts and the IO2501 series CSI 300 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 3818.63;
- IC2501 CSI 500 index futures contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 5594.86;
- IM2501 CSI 1000 index futures contracts and the MO2501 series CSI 1000 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 5852.00;
- IH2501 SSE 50 index futures contracts and the HO2501 series SSE 50 index options contracts are delivered at the final settlement price of 2587.26.

SEC Charges Two Sigma For Failing To Address Known Vulnerabilities In Its Investment Models - Firm Ignored Material Vulnerabilities For Years; Voluntarily Repaid Impacted Funds And Accounts $165 Million

The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced settled charges against New York-based investment advisers Two Sigma Investments LP and Two Sigma Advisers LP (collectively, Two Sigma) for breaching their fiduciary duties by failing to reasonably address known vulnerabilities in their investment models and for related compliance and supervisory failures, as well as for separately violating the Commission’s whistleblower protection rule. Two Sigma voluntarily repaid impacted funds and accounts $165 million during the SEC’s investigation and agreed to pay $90 million in civil penalties to settle the SEC’s charges.
