  • FTSE Group And Research Affiliates Reach Agreement With PowerShares For Fundamental Index ETF

    FTSE Group (FTSE), the global index provider, and Research Affiliates, the creator of RAFI (Research Affiliates Fundamental Index), today announce that they have issued a license to PowerShares LLC to use the new FTSE RAFI US 1000 Index to create an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF), which will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Subject to receiving SEC regulatory approval, the ETF is expected to launch before the end of 2005.
