  • Polyus Gold Prospects For International Investors On London Stock Exchange Main Market

    The London Stock Exchange today welcomed Polyus Gold, Russia’s largest gold producer, to the Main Market where it has issued American Depository Receipts (ADRs). Polyus Gold is an independent company spun out of Norilsk Nickel in March 2006. The company has listed its ADRs in London in order to attract more international investors and take advantage of the International Order Book’s highly liquid trading and investor interest. It will not undertake any fundraising on admission.

  • CRESTCo To Rebate GBP 7.5 Million In Fees

    CRESTCo announced today a rebate of GBP 7.5 million – or around 10% of fees received in 2006 - to its clients. The rebate will be paid in a lump sum to each client in early 2007, based on the transactional fees paid by the client in 2006.

The RTS Index, the official Exchange indicator is the benchmark in Russian securities' industry. The RTS Index is calculated based on 50 most liquid and capitalized stocks of the Russian companies.

  • NYSE/Euronext Announcement: Joint Statement On Letter From Dutch Minister Of Finance Of The Netherlands, Gerrit Zalm

    Euronext N.V. (Euronext) and NYSE Group Inc. (NYSE) are releasing a copy of a letter that has been received end of last week from the Dutch Minister of Finance of the Netherlands, Gerrit Zalm. In this letter, addressed to the representatives of Euronext and of NYSE, the Dutch Minister of Finance states that he "is minded to grant the requested declarations of no-objections and the Exchange Licence", subject to conditions described in the letter.

  • Euronext Signs An Agreement To Acquire 51% In SecFinex, The Electronic Platform For Securities Lending

    Euronext, the pan-European stock exchange, signed an agreement for it to acquire 51% of SecFinex, one of the leading European electronic trading platforms for securities lending. Subject to the approval of relevant authorities, the acquisition should be completed in the first quarter of 2007.
