Toronto Stock Exchange Organizational Changes

TSX Group Inc., today announced that effective immediately Rik Parkhill, President, TSX Markets and Executive Vice President, TSX Group, is assuming responsibility for the day-to-day listing operations of Toronto Stock Exchange, in addition to being responsible for the trading operations of Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Parkhill is based in Toronto and Montreal.

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Thursday, March 3, 2005: European Goldfields Limited (TSXVN:EGU) will be removed from the index. The company is going to graduate to trade on the TSX on Monday, March 7, 2005 under the ticker “EGU.”

New York Mercantile Exchange To Increase Minimum Margin On Natural Gas Options Contracts
