Tokyo Commodity Exchange Lifting Ordering Restrictions On IOC And FOK Orders

TOCOM will lift the ordering restrictions imposed on IOC and FOK orders since February 16, 2005, along with the introduction of new regulation that prohibits the cancellation of these orders. We will resume recieving these orders from June 20, 2005.

The Federation of Thai Capital Market Organizations (FeTCO) has appointed Mr. Kongkiat Opaswongkarn, Ph.D., as its new chairman, replacing Mr. Suthep Peetakanont, who finished his term as President of the Association of Securities Companies (ASCO) on May 13, 2005. The FeTCO chairman should normally head of one of FeTCO’s member organizations.

Reprimand Against Cicorel Holding SA By The SWX Swiss Exchange

The SWX Swiss Exchange has issued a reprimand with publication against Cicorel Holding SA, Boudry, Neuchâtel, for violation of provisions of the Listing Rules. The reprimand of the SWX refers in particular to the incorrect indication of the date of corporate takeovers and their incorrect declaration in the cash flow statement.

Today's first hour volume reached an all time high on the NYSE totaling 704,370,000 shares, surpassing the previous record first-hour volume set on Sept. 21, 2001, of 660,530,000 shares.
