NASD Fines 29 Firms Over $9.2 Million for Late Reporting - Failures Stall Disclosure Of Potential Broker Misconduct To Public, Regulators, Brokerages

NASD announced today that it has censured and fined 29 securities firms over $9.2 million for more than 8,000 late disclosures of reportable information about their brokers – including customer complaints, regulatory actions and criminal charges and convictions.

London Stock Exchange Launches Daily Market Report Service

The London Stock Exchange today launched its Market Reports Service, which provides UK listed companies with daily updates on share price performance, news and trading activity, share ownership data and broker forecasts. The new service, designed specifically for CEOs, CFOs and investor relations staff, will enable better-informed operational and investor relations decisions and reduce information, data and time costs.

LME To Publish Matched Trade Prices In 2005
