    For the week of January 17th – January 21st, 2005, total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on the RTS) increased by 129% in rubles and 138% in contracts reached 7 003 million rubles and 923 thousand contracts. Total open interest as of January 21st, 2005, increased by 11% in rubles and 13% in contracts and equaled 9 786 million rubles and 1 234 thousand contracts.

  • CBOT Wheat Futures Set New Open Interest Record

    The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced that CBOT Wheat futures set an open interest record yesterday at 207,558 contracts. This is the second Wheat futures open interest record in less than a week, when on January 20, the contract reached an open interest high of 204,694 contracts.
