The Securities and Exchange Commission today announced the filing of civil charges against two voicemail broadcasters and their associates for broadcasting hundreds of thousands of fraudulent "wrong number" stock tip messages. The messages, which were left on telephone voicemail recording machines throughout the country, were designed to make each recipient believe the caller had dialed the number by mistake. NYBOT Announces Listing Of A Second Spot Cycle FCOJ Option Contract Month

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®), the world’s leading “soft” commodities exchange, announced today that effective with the start of trading on May 5, 2005, the Exchange is implementing an amendment to its FCOJ Rules which provides for the automatic listing of two Spot Cycle contract months on the FCOJ Options contract; prior to the amendment the rule provides for the listing of one such Spot Cycle contract month.

NCDEX launched NCDEX Agri Commodity Index today at the Exchange. The Index was launched by Mr S. Sundareshan, IAS, Chairman, Forward Market Commission. The NCDEX Agri Index is a composite Index of 20 agricultural commodities. The Index opened at 1213.16 & closed at 1209.96.
