NYSE Member Firms Report First-Quarter 2008 Results

New York Stock Exchange member firms that conduct business with the public reported a first-quarter 2008 after-tax loss of $14.50 billion and revenues of $49.42 billion, compared with $3.03 billion in after-tax profits on revenues of $89.84 billion in first quarter 2007. (CCX®), announced today that on June 2, 2008, CCFE established a new record for total daily volume in CCFE CFI futures, with 1,015 contracts traded (1,015,000 metric tons CO2), surpassing the previous record set on May 27th when 622 contracts traded.

The Vienna Stock Exchange revised the Prime Market Rules in agreement with the Special Government Representative for the Capital Market, Richard Schenz, and Aktienforum with the aim of improving transparency and the disclosure of information to investors in the premium segment of the Vienna Stock Exchange. The amendments enter into force as of 1 June 2008.
