ISE Reports Monthly Volume For February 2006 - Average Daily Volume Of 2.4 Million Contracts, Up 38% From February 2005
The International Securities Exchange, Inc. (NYSE:ISE) today reported that average daily trading volume for equity and index options contracts for February 2006 increased 37.9% to 2.4 million contracts as compared to 1.7 million contracts during the same period in 2005. Total equity and index options volume for the month increased 37.9% to 44.8 million contracts from 32.5 million contracts in the same year-ago period.

February 2006 - Euronext Key Indicators - 17.9 Million Cash Transactions In February, Up 37.3% Year-To-Date - Busiest Year Start Ever - Euronext.Liffe Up 21% On February 2005 - Equity Products Up 41% Year-On-Year
Cash products 17.9 million transactions were completed on Euronext’s cash markets in February 2006, making it the second busiest month ever, just behind the record level of 18.5 million registered in January this year. In total, more than 36 million cash transactions were registered since the beginning of the year, up 37.3% on the same period in 2005, representing a record level at this time of the year and a daily average of 868.000. Eurex Repo Makes New Inflation-Linked German Bund Available For Trading - Repo Trading In The Innovative Bond Starts On Eurex Repo At The Time Of Issue - Bond Also Tradable On The Eurex Bonds Fixed-Income Trading Platform
The Eurex subsidiary Eurex Repo, one of the leading electronic repo market providers, announced on Tuesday that it will be making the new inflation-linked German Bund available for repo trading as soon as it is issued. The Federal Ministry of Finance announced on Tuesday that it was to issue the first 10-year inflation-protected bond in the week commencing 6 March 2006. The bond will be traded on the Eurex Repo’s euro market, which Eurex Repo operates in addition to its Swiss franc repo market.

Deutsche Börse: 392 Billion Euros In Turnover On German Stock Exchanges In February
Based on the total turnover statistics, a total volume of €391,7 billion was traded on all German stock exchanges in February 2006 – a rise of 32 percent year-on-year (February 2005: €297 billion). This total included €350.1 billion in equities, warrants and exchange traded funds, as well as €41.6 billion in fixed-income securities.

CME, the world's largest and most diverse financial exchange, today announced average daily volume in February was 4.7 million contracts, up 26 percent from the same period a year ago. Total monthly volume was more than 90 million contracts. CBOT Average Daily Volume Increases 9 Percent Over February 2005 - Exchange Volume Reaches All-Time High
The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced February 2006 average daily volume (ADV) increased 9 percent to 3,528,676 contracts, compared with 3,231,548 contracts in February 2005. In addition, Exchange volume for February climbed to its highest monthly total ever, reaching a record 67,044,843 contracts.
