NASDAQ Has Second Heaviest Trading Day

The Nasdaq Stock Market, Inc. (NASDAQ®: NDAQ) today had the second biggest day ever in its history for total matched volume, with 3.3 billion shares traded. NASDAQ traded 1.8 billion in NASDAQ-listed stocks, 1.1 billion shares in NYSE-listed and 404 million in American Stock Exchange-listed stocks.
