Abu Dhabi Securities Market And FTSE Sign MoU To Develop Various Indices

Abu Dhabi Securities Market (ADSM) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the FTSE Group to develop a series of indices that will benefit the financial sector in the UAE as well as creating of new Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs)." The FTSE is involved in the creation and management of equity bond and hedge fund indices. Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Wednesday, June 27, 2007: ECU Silver Mining Inc. (TSXVN:ECU) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to the TSX and will trade under the same ticker symbol. In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on June 28, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.
