Industry Classification At The Baltic Stock Exchanges
As part of the integration of the Nordic and Baltic securities markets, the Baltic stock exchanges (Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius) will introduce the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS) as of July 1, 2005. Common Nordic and Baltic industry classification increases the international comparability of listed companies and provides the companies with a clearly defined and larger peer group.

H.H. Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler Of Dubai Appoints Two Judges To Dubai International Financial Centre Court - Sir Anthony Evans P.C. Appointed Chief Justice - Michael Hwang S.C. To Serve As Deputy Chief Justice - First Two Judges Of DIFC
The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) yesterday welcomed the appointment of two judges to the DIFC Court by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Ruler of Dubai. This announcement follows the enactment in December 2004 by His Highness of two laws creating the DIFC Judicial Authority and the establishment of the DIFC Court with the status and function of a Dubai Court.

Futures & Options On The RTS Stock Exchange Derivatives Market Weekly Trading Data: April 4th – April 8th, 2005
For the week of April 4th – April 8th, 2005, total trading volume on FORTS (Futures & Options on the RTS) increased by 6% in rubles and 3% in contracts and reached 6 546 million rubles and 752 thousand contracts. Total open interest as of April 8th, 2005, increased by 10% in rubles and 9% in contracts and equaled 14 775 million rubles and 1 695 thousand contracts.

Eurex Repo Continues To Grow In The First Quarter - Euro Market Up By 76 Percent - Successful Start For The New Euro GC Pooling Segment
The repo markets of the worlds largest derivatives exchange Eurex continued to grow in the first quarter of this year. The average outstanding volume, the key performance figure for repo market and the number of trading participants continued to increase. Deutsche Börse To Begin Share Buyback On Wednesday
Deutsche Börse will begin its share repurchase program on Wednesday, April 13, 2005. This share repurchase program is part of an ongoing effort to optimize the capital structure of the Group and will terminate on 20 May 2005, two trading days prior to the AGM on May 25. Daily Trading Volume On JSC "RTS Stock Exchange" Exceeded 500 Million Rubles
On April 8 th , 2005, total trading volume on the Order-driven market of the JSC "RTS Stock Exchange" reached the all-time record of 527,5 million rubles (18.9 million dollars), 58% higher than the previous record posted on March 31 st , 2005 (334 million rubles). The daily average trading volume since the launch of the market on November 23 rd , 2004, equals 123 million rubles. The daily number of registered trades also reached the record value of 1348.

CME Announces Weekly Expirations For CME Eurodollar One-Year Mid-Curve Options
CME, the largest U.S. futures exchange, today announced that it will launch weekly expirations on the One-Year Mid-Curve options on CME Eurodollar futures, the world’s most actively traded interest rate futures contract.
