CBOT Holdings, Inc. (CBOT®) (NYSE: BOT) today announced that its Board of Directors and special committees have met and reviewed a revised proposal from IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. (NYSE:ICE). The Board of Directors and special transaction committee again concluded that the ICE proposal is not superior to the amended merger agreement with Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CME).

OneChicago Reports June Volume

OneChicago, LLC today reported that 807,847 security futures contracts traded at the Exchange in June. Average daily volume (ADV) in June 2007 was 38,469 contracts, a 20% increase over average daily volume for June 2006. Open interest stood at 918,557 contracts in June 2007.

CBOE Average Daily Volume In June Of 3.5 Million Contracts Is Up 24% Vs. Year Ago - Volume During Second Quarter Is Up 20% To 220 Million

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced yesterday that average daily volume during the month of June was up 24% to 3.5 million contracts, compared to 2.9 million contracts during June 2006. Total volume for the month of June was 74,365,564 contracts, an increase of 18% versus the 62.9 million contracts traded during June 2006.

The registration of the Polish energy trading company Elbis Sp. zo.o with the European Energy Exchange’s (EEX) CO2 Trading platform, automatically connects 80 locally registered trading participants to the CO2 Emission Allowances Spot Market at the Exchange. This is made possible by a so-called Order Routing Sys-tem that connects the EEX trading systems with the Polish companies.
