        NZAX Market Listing Rules Are Now ApprovedDate 22/10/2003 New Zealand Exchange Limited (NZX) wishes to announce that the Governor General, by Order in Council, has approved the final NZAX Listing Rules on the recommendation of the Minister of Commerce, the Honourable Lianne Dalziel. The new Listing Rules come into effect from 1 November 2003.

        London Stock Exchange To Launch Its EUROSETS Service In The Dutch Market With A 40 Per Cent Cost ReductionDate 22/10/2003 The London Stock Exchange today revealed that trading charges for its full, bespoke equity trading service in Dutch securities, to be launched on 29 March 2004, will be over 40 per cent cheaper than the new reduced charges to be levied by Euronext.

        Instinet Announces Third Quarter 2003 ResultsDate 22/10/2003 Instinet Group Incorporated (Nasdaq: INET) today announced net income of $4 million or $0.01 per share for the third quarter of 2003. This compares to a net loss of $528 million, or $2.05 per share, for the third quarter of 2002, which included a goodwill impairment write-down of $552 million, a net investment gain of $20 million and a $1 million restructuring charge.12

        HEX To Commence Rationalisation NegotiationsDate 22/10/2003 HEX Group, part of OMHEX, initiates rationalisation negotiations that are estimated to lead to a reduction of approximately 60 positions in Finland, most of which are within OM Technology's Finnish operations. The process is expected to be concluded by March 2004. OMHEX currently employs 372 people in Finland.
