  • Euronext Paris: CAC 40 Index Calculations Shift To Free-Float Weightings From December 2003

    The Scientific Committee in charge of re-balancing the indices compiled by Euronext Paris has announced that the CAC 40 index for the Euronext Paris market will shift from weightings based on total capitalization of components to weightings based on free-float capitalization in December 2003. This is in keeping with the general trend for major market indices.

  • Euronext Brussels: BEL20® Monthly Selection List

    Based upon the figures until the end of November 2002, the Market Authority of Euronext Brussels communicates the new monthly selection list. This list is valid for replacements that would occur from Monday 16 December up to and including Wednesday 15 January 2003 after trading hours.   • Eurex Bonds Offers World's First Bond Indices On Trading Data

    On December 18, 2002, Eurex Bonds, the international electronic platform for trading in fixed-income securities, will launch a new index family with Deutsche Börse, initially comprising ten German bond indices. The new indices for fixed-income German federal bonds are based on prices for trades completed on Eurex Bonds as well as binding bid and ask prices. Deutsche Börse will use these data to calculate the bond indices minute by minute and disseminate them via the exchange's own data

  • Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. Prices Initial Public Offering At $35 Per Share; Class A Common Stock To Begin Trading On NYSE Dec. 6

    Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. (NYSE: CME) yesterday priced its initial public offering of 4,751,070 shares of Class A common stock at $35 per share. A total of 3 million shares are being sold by the company. The remainder are being sold by existing shareholders. The company will not receive any proceeds from the sale of Class A shares by existing shareholders. The Class A common stock is expected to begin trading on Friday, Dec. 6.
