Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Composite Index

Standard & Poor's Canadian Index Operations announces that effective after the close of business on Friday, June 20, 2003 the relative weights of the companies in the S&P/TSX Canadian Indices will be adjusted. The relative weight change reflects the quarterly update to the float shares of various companies. Changes to the indices are in accordance with S&P/TSX Composite Index Maintenance Policies. New York Mercantile Exchange To Revise PJM Large Trader Reporting Requirements

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., yesterday announced that it will amend large trader reporting levels for the financially settled PJM electricity futures contracts to one contract from 25 with the launch of the weekly and daily contracts scheduled for June 26.

NASD Provides Members Guidance Regarding Instant Messaging

NASD today advised member firms about the use of "instant messaging" by employees, saying firms must ensure the instant messaging is being retained for at least three years and the communication does not violate NASD rules governing sales literature and correspondence. The advisory was issued in a Notice to Members.

Investors in Mexico now will be able to buy or sell mutual funds linked to the performance of the Dow Jones Industrial Average. Dow Jones Indexes, one of the leading global index providers, issued its first such licenses in Mexico to Santander Serfin, Mexico's third-largest fund company, and Actinver Fondos de Inversion, Mexico's largest independent fund company.

Deutsche Börse: Provisional Scenario Calculation For The Equity Indices - Changes In The Indices Go Into Effect On June 23 - Fielmann In The MDAX

With effect from June 23, new weights will apply for the companies in the equity indices of Deutsche Börse. The company released the preliminary weighting figures on Wednesday. The final figures, to be based on the Xetra closing prices on Friday, will be published at the Deutsche Börse Web site (www.deutsche-boerse.com) on Saturday.

In advance of next week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on June 25, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

Ad Hoc Publicity: SWX Initiates A Formal Investigation Against Cicorel Holding AG

SWX Swiss Exchange has initiated a formal investigation against Cicorel Holding AG regarding a possible violation of Art. 72 of the Listing Rules (ad hoc publicity). Due to technical problems, Cicorel published the annual results 2002 during trading hours on 9 May 2003. The preliminary investigation conducted by the SWX has revealed that Cicorel possibly violated the principle of equal treatment of market participants.
