Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In S&P Canadian Indices

Standard & Poor's wishes to announce that following changes: On June 24, 2003, the shareholders of Peyto Exploration & Development Corp. (TSX:PEY) approved a plan of arrangement whereby the company would be converted into an income trust, Peyto Energy Trust. After the close of trading on Thursday, June 26, 2003, Peyto Exploration & Development Corp. will be removed from the S&P/TSX Composite, S&P/TSX Capped Composite, S&P/TSX SmallCap, S&P/TSX Capped Energy and TSX 200 Indices.

Most-traded Shares On ICEX 1 July 2003 - 31 December 2003

In accordance with other exchanges in the NOREX Alliance, ICEX compiles a list of the most-traded shares semi-annually. Up until now, the selection has been made on the basis of total trading volume during the past 12 months and market capitalisation. ICEX has now decided to change its method of selection.
KCBT Increases Number Of Wheat Option Serial Months

The Board of Directors yesterday approved a resolution amending the number of wheat option serial months that are listed for trading. In an effort to satisfy the hedging needs of market participants in serial months further out than those currently available, the Board expanded the listing procedure to the maximum allowable number of wheat option serial months for trading.

In advance of this week's Federal Open Market Committee meeting on June 25, the Chicago Board of Trade will be reporting daily rate change probabilities in the FOMC's federal funds target rate, as indicated by the CBOT® 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract. The CBOT 30-Day Federal Funds futures contract is a key benchmark interest rate barometer that reflects the forward overnight effective rate for excess reserves that are traded among commercial banks in the U.S. federal funds market.

CBOE To List Full Value 2005 LEAPS On S&P 100 Index (OEX And XEO) And iShares S&P 100 Index (OEF)

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced it will list full value 2005 LEAPS on S&P 100 Index with American style exercise (OEX), S&P 100 Index with European style exercise (XEO), and iShares S&P 100 Index exchange-traded fund (OEF) beginning Thursday, June 26. LEAPS (Long-term Equity AnticiPation Securities) are stock options with an expiration date of up to three years in the future.
