Visual Trader And Trading Screens To Link Up Their Networks - Visual Trader, Bolsas Y Mercados Españoles' (BME) Multimarket Platform, Increases Its Presence In International Markets

Visual Trader Systems, a company integrated in Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) and TradingScreen have signed an agreement to link up their networks. The intermediaries and financial companies linked to Visual Trader will be able to send their orders to international brokers linked to Trading Screen as well as receive orders sent to their own market.

Standard & Poor's Announces Changes In The S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index

Pursuant to quarterly rebalancing methodology, Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index effective after the close of trading on Friday, July 18, 2003. As of the close of trading on Wednesday, July 9, 2003, the index was comprised of 507 companies. A total of 66 companies will be removed from the index and 79 new companies will be added. The revised index will therefore be made up of 520 companies.

Philadelphia Stock Exchange Board Of Governors Approves Proceeding With Demutualization Plan

At a special meeting yesterday, the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange unanimously approved proceeding with a demutualization plan - a process that would convert the Exchange from a member-owned, not-for-profit institution to a shareholder-owned, for-profit company.

New Zealand Exchange Limited (NZX) wishes to announce that the allotment of all new NZX shares has taken place. Of the $10 million available for allocation, NZX received subscriptions for $41.88 million from Institutions, NZX Brokers on behalf of clients, and from the public pool.

Lyxor Asset management, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Société Générale, and Dow Jones Indexes, a major global index provider, have signed a licensing agreement that enables Société Générale to list an exchange-traded fund based on the Dow Jones Global Titans 50 Index, a blue-chip index.
