The New York Stock Exchange and the Korea Stock Exchange today signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) in which the two exchanges agreed to further increase their cooperation.

August saw further year on year increases in trading volumes across the London Stock Exchange’s markets, with a 22 per cent increase on the same month last year in value traded and a 20 per cent increase in the number of trades. In total there were 4,965,401 trades during August with a value of £329.6 billion.

AmBev - PN ADR Share Increase and IWF change in the S&P Latin American 40 Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P Latin America 40 Index effective after the close of trading on Friday, September 10, 2004. AmBev - PN (Brazil, SEDOL 2634797) ADR shares will increase by 113,981,813 to 335,194,965. The ADR share increase comes as result of the acquisition of Labatt (non-constituent). Simultaneously the IWF will change to 0.66% from 1%.
