EEX European Energy Exchange will be the first power exchange in continental Europe to offer clearing for over-the-counter forward transactions (OTC Clearing). The share turnover in December amounted to DKK 27.5 billion, which corresponds to an average of DKK 1.6 billion per day. This was somewhat higher than the average daily turnover in the second half of 2001.
