  • SETTRADE Appoints Its Chief Executive Officer

    The Board of SETTRADE Dot Com Co., Ltd. has resolved to appoint Mrs. Chanisa Chutipat as their company's Chief Executive Officer overseeing SETTRADE Dot Com Co., Ltd., a SET subsidiary. The new CEO will manage SETTRADE in its role as provider of securities information system as well as securities trading system via the Internet in line with SETTRADE's mission. Mrs. Chutipat's duties will include undertaking proactive moves in all aspects of SETTRADE's operations.

  • SEC Votes To Adopt Additional 8-K Requirements And To Propose Amendments To Form 20-F And Fund Manager Disclosure Requirements

    The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission today voted to publish for comment proposed amendments to Form 20-F, to adopt additional reporting requirements on Form 8-K and to publish for comment proposed disclosure requirements for portfolio managers of mutual funds and other registered management investment companies.

  • Real Time From The Copenhagen Stock Exchange Via SMS

    The Copenhagen Stock Exchange now supplies real-time prices on all listed shares via SMS. The price per SMS is still DKK 4 plus ordinary SMS charges. The Exchange introduced its SMS service just six weeks ago and promised at that time to develop new and better services on an ongoing basis.

  • NYSE Opens Director-Nomination Process To Investing Public

    The New York Stock Exchange today announced a new procedure to allow the investing public to nominate director candidates.  This is one of a series of reforms instituted last year to strengthen the independence, transparency and effectiveness of the Exchange’s governance.
