The Spanish stock exchange today began trading 72 new warrants issued by Banesto Banco de Emisiones and 45 by Commerzbank.. The issue is linked to a wide scope of underlying assets, among which there are domestic and foreign shares and indices.

Thailand’s Listed Firms To Gain Tax Privileges Corresponding To Their Paid-Up Capital Under The New Listing Rules

Starting from January. 1, 2005, onwards new listing requirements will apply for companies seeking listing on the SET and the mai. The new listing requirements will bring with them new tax privileges corresponding to the paid-up capital of the companies seeking listing. Firms wishing to list using the current rules must notify the SET by no later than November 30, 2004.

SEC: Fee Rate Advisory #5 For Fiscal Year 2005

The continuing resolution funding the Securities and Exchange Commission for fiscal 2005 has been extended through Dec. 8, 2004. Therefore, fees paid under Section 6(b) of the Securities Act of 1933 and Sections 13(e), 14(g) and 31 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 will remain at their current rates.

Record Daily Volume For SFE 30 Day Interbank Cash Rate Futures

Sydney Futures Exchange experienced the largest daily transaction volume on record for the SFE 30 Day Interbank Cash Rate Futures contract. The total daily volume was 18,390 contracts, up 11% compared to the previous daily record of 16,554 contracts set on September 14, 2004.
