The markets at the New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) continued their impressive growth during the month of February, following several successive high volume months and an unprecedented record year for 2003. Through the end of February, total futures and options shot up 23% Year-To-Date (YTD), with 4,864,892 contracts in 2004, versus 3,969,145 in 2003 YTD.

Copenhagen Stock Exchange Share Trading More Than Doubled In February Compared With February 2003

Keen interest in share trading and the opening of a new accounting season gave turnover on the equity market a boost compared with February 2003. In February, share trading amounted to DKK 50.5 billion, up 135 per cent on the corresponding month last year.

TSX Markets To Launch Market On Close Facility - Market On Close Has Been Developed To Provide A Fair, Fast And Liquid Benchmark For Closing-Price Trades On Toronto Stock Exchange.

TSX Markets today announced that beginning on March 22, it will begin phasing in a new trading feature, Market on Close (MOC). MOC allows Participating Organizations to execute Market on Close orders on Toronto Stock Exchange at the end of the regular trading session for issues in the S&P TSX 60. On February 6, 2004, the turnover in number of traded derivatives contracts at Stockholmsbörsen reached an all time high. The number of traded contracts was 1 499 765, to be compared to the previous all time high of 1 068 537 traded contracts (July 18, 2003).
