RTS Bonds: Weekly Data February 3rd-February 7th
For the week of February 07, 2003, total volume on the RTS Bonds, the system facilitating trading of corporate, government, municipal debt, and Eurobonds, reached 795 thousand US dollars, a significant increase from 72 thousand US dollars for the week of January 27th. 27th issue of Moscow City Bonds accounted for 76% of total turnover. The number of trades increased more than 4 times, from 5 to 21 trades.

Rising Eurex Market Share In Dutch Equity Options
Eurex, the international derivatives market, has further expanded its position as the world's leading equity options exchange with a rising share of the market in Dutch equity options. In January 2003, Eurex turned over 518,000 contracts in the Dutch options segment, a 128 percent increase from the December volume and 317 percent higher than in January last year. An average of some 25,000 contracts are being traded and cleared per day on the Eurex platform in the meantime.

NYBOT's Cocoa Futures Contract Breaks Volume Record
The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®) announced today that its cocoa futures market set an all-time volume record of 33,332 contracts on February 6, 2003. The new record replaces the previous high of 31,485 contracts established on January 18, 2001.

London Stock Exchange Monthly Market Report For January 2003 - Total Number Of Trades Up 17 Percent - Continued SETS Growth In January
The total number of UK and international trades on the Exchange in January 2003 was 5.06 million, up 17 per cent from 4.33 million in January 2002. The total value of these trades was £325.9 billion, a 21 per cent decline over the corresponding period last year. The average daily number of UK and international trades increased to 230,167 trades compared with 196,766 in January 2002. There were 22 business days in both January 2002 and 2003.
