Boston Options Exchange New Trading Volume Record

243,796 contracts were traded on BOX today, a new record for a single session, breaking the record set Wednesday of this week. Volume for the week was just short of one million contracts with an average daily volume for the five days of 199,179 contracts.

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/MIB index effective the close of trading Wednesday, November 24, 2004: Banca Popolare di Milano (Italy, ISIN: IT0000064482) shares will increase to 415,034,231. The change is the result of the issue of new shares following the company’s acquisition of Carinord 1 SPA. American Stock Exchange Reports Increase In Short Interest

The American Stock Exchange (Amex) member and non-member organizations today reported short interest of 846,550,551 shares as of the November 15 settlement date, an increase of 5,252,992 from the 841,297,559 (adjusted) shares reported in mid-October. The November figure represents trades through November 9, 2004.
