International Securities Exchange Reports Monthly Volume For February 2005

The International Securities Exchange (ISE), the world's largest equity options exchange, today reported equity options trading volume for February 2005. Average daily trading volume in equity options contracts increased 17.6% compared to the same period in the prior year. Total equity options volume increased to 32.4 million contracts traded as compared to 27.6 million contracts traded in the same year-ago period.

DIFX has selected NSC, the electronic trading system of AtosEuronext, to trade equities, bonds, and other products. NSC, a powerful trading engine, processes several million orders per day and more than 1,000 orders per second for a given market segment and can handle a large number of instruments. The launch of DIFX on NSC is planned for the end of September 2005.

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) announced that today it signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MOU") with the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE). BEL 20® Index - New Divisors

Following the approval of the merger between KBC and Almanij by its shareholders, Almanij is removed from the BEL 20 index as from today, 2 March after close. In the basket, the 400 Almanij shares are replaced by 540 additional KBC shares. Consequently, the current number of KBC shares increases from 817 to 1357. Following this replacement, the divisors of the BEL 20® Index are adjusted as follows effective from Thursday 3 March 2005 onwards.
