NYBOT: Synthetic Prices Used To Margin Orange Juice Positions – March 10, 2005

Pursuant to Rule 101: Definition of the Term “Settlement Price,” the New York Clearing Corporation will utilize an alternate price for purposes of margining outstanding positions at the clearing member level today, March 10, 2005. The relevant provisions of the Rule are triggered whenever an Orange Juice futures contract month ends the trading day locked at either limit-up or limit-down; the alternate price is derived from the respective futures contract month’s corresponding options contract at

NYBOT To Launch Sugar And Cotton Options On Futures Spreads

The New York Board of Trade® (NYBOT®), the world’s leading “soft” commodity exchange, announced today that it will launch a Sugar No. 11SM Options on Futures Spreads (OFS) contract and a Cotton No. 2SM OFS contract on Thursday, March 24, 2005. New Trading Hours For NYBOT Pulp Contract

The New York Board of Trade ® (NYBOT ®) announced today new trading hours for the pulp futures and options contracts: the markets will open at 7:55 AM and close at 9:00 AM (as opposed to the current schedule of 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM). The changes are effective Monday, March 14 th. The new trading hours will create enhanced efficiencies in conjunction with the trading of other NYBOT markets.

Clearstream Sees Further Growth In February 2005

Clearstream experienced further growth in its core businesses and new business streams in February 2005. The value of assets held in custody on behalf of customers rose to approximately EUR 7.7 trillion, a rise of 2.3 percent from the same month last year.
