As of July 11th, 2005 IDEM, the Italian Derivatives Market managed by Borsa Italiana will introduce "long term options" which allow investors to take positions on the S&P/MIB index with maturities of up to three years.

Executive Vice President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand, Ms. Patareeya Benjapolchai, who’s the secretary of the SET Board, announced that the board resolved today (June 22) to appoint Mr. Kampanart Lohacharoenvanich as its Vice Chairman effective on June 22, 2005. Mr. Kampanart’s term will be until May 27, 2006. His appointment is to replace Mr. Suthep Peetakanont who has already completed his term.
