Tokyo Financial Exchange: Trading Of Interest Rate Etc. Financial Futures Transactions Starts 15 Minutes Earlier On 30 January 2006

TFX announced the temporary change of trading hours for all Interest Rate etc. Financial Futures Transactions (except for Exchange Forex Margin Transactions) on 30 January 2006, responding to the release of a preliminary report on Indices of Industrial Production at 8:50am.

Opening on that day

  • Pre-open 8:30am - 8:45am (Normal days 8:45am - 9:00am)
  • Open of morning session 8:45am (Normal days 9:00am)
Other trading hours are the same as usual.

TFX temporally extends its trading hours to provide its members and customers with trading opportunities. Other than the release of a preliminary report on Indices of Industrial Production, TFX starts its trading hours 15 minutes earlier on days when the Consumer Price Index, BOJ's TANKAN report, BOJ's Outlook for Economic Activity and Prices, or a GDP figure are announced at the same timing.
