Warsaw Exchange Announces A Quarterly Revision In The WIG, WIRR And WIG-PL Indices

Following the trading session on December 16, 2005, there will be a quarterly revision and composition of the WIG, WIRR and WIG-PL indices will be changed: INTERIA.PL, LUBAWA, MIESZKO, MNI and ZREW will be moved from the WIRR index to the WIG index and BEDZIN, FERRUM and REDAN will be moved from the WIG index to the WIRR index, SKYEUROPE will supplement the WIG index, OBORNIKI will be removed from the WIRR index, LUBAWA, PEPEES, SKOTAN and TETA will enter and EUROFAKTOR,

TSX Venture Exchange – Market Enhancements: Icebergs And Voluntary Attribution Now Available

TSX Venture Exchange today announced that Iceberg orders and voluntary attribution have been added as trading features to the marketplace. Tenth Meeting Of The Market Participants Consultative Panel

The Market Participants Consultative Panel held its 10th meeting on 9th November 2005 in Paris. The discussion during the meeting was facilitated by Mr Kaarlo Jännäri, Vice-Chairman of CESR. The discussion primarily focused on the shaping of the supervisory convergence role of CESR and, in particular, on two different subjects: the role and efficiency of CESR’s Review Panel and future mediation mechanism and, IT databases and networks between supervisors.

SEC Votes To Propose Rules On Tender Offers, Foreign Issuer Deregistration - Also Votes To Adopt Filing Acceleration Changes

The Securities and Exchange Commission today voted to publish for comment rule proposals concerning the best-price rule on tender offers and the process whereby a foreign private issuer can terminate reporting requirements for classes of its securities registered under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The Commission also adopted rules concerning acceleration of filing deadlines for periodic reports required under the Exchange Act.

Quarterly Rebalancing And IWF Changes For S&P Global 100, S&P Europe 350, S&P Asia 50, S&P Latin America 40, And S&P/ASX 50 Indices

Standard & Poor's, as part of the quarterly rebalancing, will update the shares outstanding for several constituents of the S&P Global 100, S&P Europe 350, S&P Asia 50, S&P ASX/50, and S&P Latin America 40 Indices. In addition, as part of their annual review, Investible Weight Factors (IWF) for S&P Latin America 40 index and other IWF updates for the S&P Europe 350, and S&P Asia 50 will become effective after the close of business Friday, December 16, 2005.
