Statement On NYSE Broker Booth Support System (BBSS) - Customer Orders Still Being Processed By Floor Brokers Manually And Through Proprietary Floor Broker Booth Systems As Well As Electronically

The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Broker Booth Support System (BBSS) began experiencing technical problems this morning beginning at approximately 10:06 a.m. Customer orders are still being processed by floor brokers manually and through proprietary broker booth systems, which are unaffected by the systems problem. All orders routed electronically through the NYSE’s CMS and SuperDot as well as the Hybrid Market order routing systems are unaffected.

SEC Announces Emergency Action To Halt Ongoing Fraud Against Senior Citizens - SEC Seeks Temporary Restraining Orders, Asset Freezes And Accountings

The Securities and Exchange Commission today filed an emergency enforcement action against Peter J. Dawson and two of his corporations to halt an ongoing fraud in which the defendants have obtained over $2 million from at least seven investors, most of them senior citizens.
