Nymex Announces Accountability Levels, Position Limits For New Electricity Futures Contracts

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., today announced accountability levels and position limits for the five new electricity futures contracts that begin clearing and trading on NYMEX ClearPort® on January 8 for the trade date of January 9.

On December 28, 2005, NASDAQ announced a proposed change in the pricing structure of its trade execution services. Subject to filing this proposed change with the SEC, NASDAQ expects the new pricing structure to become effective February 1, 2006.

Total volume of trade in futures and options contracts on Winnipeg Commodity Exchange for December 2005 reached 273,277 contracts, setting a volume record for the month of December. This level of trade is 65.8% higher than a month ago and 30.1% higher than a year ago.
