Clearstream’s Core Business Continues Its Growth In June 2007

Clearstream processed 2,64 million international transactions in June 2007, a 36 percent rise over June 2006 (1,94 million). Of these transactions, 74 percent were Over the Counter (OTC) transactions and 26 percent were registered as stock exchange transactions. Domestic settlement transactions in Germany stood at 4,4 million compared to 3,26 million for the same month last year (a rise of 35 percent).
