CBOT Confirms No "Ex-Dividend" Date

CBOT Holdings, Inc., holding company for the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) (NYSE: BOT), one of the leading global derivatives exchanges, today confirmed that the New York Stock Exchange has not established an “ex-dividend” date in connection with the previously announced conditional special dividend that is a part of its merger with Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. (CME).

New Market Data Package Encourages Providers Of Real-Time Data To Offer News And Commentary On HKEx's Markets

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) introduced a new editorial package on 1 July to encourage information vendors offering real-time data from its securities and derivatives markets to offer market news and analysis as well. The package is available to all vendors with in-house teams that provide news, analysis or commentary to complement the vendors' real-time HKEx market data services.

Labuan International Financial Exchange Lists Second Exchangeable Sukuk By Khazanah

The Labuan International Financial Exchange Inc. (LFX), listed the second Exchangeable Sukuk listing by Khazanah Nasional Berhad (Khazanah). The Sukuk was issued via its special purpose vehicle (SPV), Cherating Capital Ltd, with an offering size of USD850 million. The Sukuk, due in 2012, is exchangeable into ordinary shares of PLUS Expressways Berhad (PLUS Expressways), the largest expressway concessionaire in Malaysia in terms of toll receipts.

Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. (NYSE/Nasdaq: CME) and CBOT Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: BOT) today announced that they have revised the terms of their definitive merger agreement to increase the consideration CBOT shareholders will receive in the merger by increasing the exchange ratio from 0.350 to 0.375 shares of CME Holdings common stock for each share of CBOT Holdings common stock. The revised agreement has been approved by the boards of directors of both companies.
