Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, February 6, 2007: Baja Mining Corp. (TSXVN:BAJ) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to the TSX to trade under the same ticker symbol. Minera Andes Inc. (TSXVN:MAI) will be removed from the index. The relative weight of Gold Fields Limited will increase in the S&P/TSX Global Gold Index to reflect the issuance of shares as part of the transaction, which will be effective after the close of Tuesday, February 13, 2007.

The Securities and Exchange Commission today filed civil injunctive actions against Gary C. Gerhardt, the former Chief Financial Officer of Engineered Support Systems, Inc., and Steven J. Landmann, the company's former Controller, alleging that they participated in a six-year fraudulent options backdating scheme in which they granted undisclosed, in-the-money stock options to themselves and to other Engineered Support officers, employees, and directors. According to the complaints, Engineered Su
