Tokyo Stock Exchange:TOPIX Dissemination Interval Change To Securities Companies, Information Vendors, And others - From 1 Minute To 15 Seconds
From today, April 18, 2005- Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) has changed the dissemination interval of TOPIX and its sub-indices to every 15 seconds today. The indices used to be disseminated once a minute to securities companies, information vendors, and others through TSE's Market Information System (MAINS).

Thailand Securities Depository Speeds Up e-IPO To Accommodate Investors’ Needs
Mrs. Nongram Wongwanich, President of the Thailand Securities Depository Co. Ltd. (TSD), revealed that the TSD has already started providing its new e-IPO service to brokers, investment bankers and financial advisors. The service will be offered to retail investors beginning in July.

Stock Exchange Of Thailand Board Amends Rules To Protect Retail Investors In Bond Trading
CEO of the Bond Electronic Exchange (BEX), Mr. Santi Kiranand, Ph.D., said that the SET’s Board of Governors had approved an amendment to the existing bond trading rules, focusing more on retail investor protection.

Stock Exchange Of Thailand Announces The First List Of Securities In SET100 Index - To Disseminate Data From May 3 Onwards
Senior Vice President of The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Mr. Sethaput Suthiwart-Narueput, Ph.D., announced that the SET has selected the first list of securities to be included in the SET100 Index calculation from May 3 – Jun. 30, 2005. Selected securities are distributed amongst all 8 industry groups. The Property & Construction Group has the highest number of qualified stocks (32 companies), followed by the Financials Group (21 companies).

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Monday, April 18, 2005: Verenex Energy Inc. (TSXVN:VNX) will be removed from the index. The company will graduate to trade on the TSX under the same ticker symbol and CUSIP number 923401 10 3. Western Canadian Coal Corp. Share Changes for Commonwealth Bank In The S&P/ASX 50 Index
Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading Thursday April 21st 2005: Commonwealth Bank (Australia, SEDOL: 6215035, GICS Code: 40101010) a member of the S&P/ASX 50 Index will increase its shares to 1,278,003,910. Russell 2000 Index Futures Set Single Day Trading Record At CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE)
The CBOE Futures Exchange, LLC (CFE) announced that today's trading volume in the Mini-Russell 2000 Index futures (ticker symbol RM) set a new single-day record with reported volume of 1,210 contracts, leading CFE to a new overall volume record, with 2,630 futures contracts trading today. The previous single-day record for RM was 1,155 contracts on March 10, 2005, which was also the previous record day for overall volume at CFE, with 2,628 futures contracts trading.
