Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. Reports Record Revenues And Profits - Net Income Grew 33 Percent In Second-Quarter 2006 - Earnings Per Share Rose 32 Percent To $3.12 - Quarterly Volume Records Reached In All Product Lines
Chicago Mercantile Exchange Holdings Inc. (NYSE, Nasdaq: CME) today reported a 23 percent increase in net revenues to a record $295 million and a 33 percent increase in net income for second-quarter 2006 compared with second-quarter 2005. Income before income taxes was up 32 percent to $180 million. Diluted earnings per share rose 32 percent to $3.12 from $2.36.

CalPERS Assets Gain 12.3 Percent For Fiscal Year - Real Estate, International Stocks And Private Equity Top Asset Classes
The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) announced today that it earned a 12.3 percent return on investments for the one-year period ended June 30, 2006, before investment management fees.

Tokyo Commodity Exchange: TOCOM Index
The Tokyo Commodity Exchange has started to publish on July 24th the TOCOM Index. The objectives of this index are first, to create a benchmark to measure the performance of investment trusts, commodity funds and the like, and second, to help commercial players manage their comprehensive hedging strategies by providing a reliable indicator. Standard & Poor’s Announces Changes To U.S. Indices
Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes to the S&P 500, S&P MidCap 400 and SmallCap 600 indices: Wyndham Worldwide Corp. (NYSE:WYNwi) will replace Cendant Corp. (NYSE:CD) in the S&P 500, and Realogy Corp. (Hwi) will replace Gateway Inc. (NYSE:GTW) in the S&P 500, after the close of trading on Monday, July 31. Wyndham and Realogy are being spun off by Cendant in a deal expected to close on or about that date, pending final approvals. Cendant will replace Credence Systems Corp

SGX To List First China “A” Share Index Futures
Singapore Exchange (SGX) announced today that it will be listing the SGX FTSE/Xinhua China A50 Index Futures contract on Tuesday, 5 September 2006. This contract is the first internationally available futures contract based on the FTSE/Xinhua China A50 Index and will be traded electronically on SGX QUEST.
