At its meeting on 26 September 2007, the Board of Oslo Børs resolved to admit shares in Pronova BioPharma to listing on Oslo Børs. At the same meeting, the Board resolved to admit shares in Grégoire, Ability Drilling, Seajacks International and Davie Yards to listing on Oslo Axess. The Board also resolved to impose a violation charge of NOK 300,000 on HSBC Bank. The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) announced today the filing of a complaint in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia against Gregg R. Amerman of Alpharetta, Georgia, and three Georgia companies he controlled: World Alliance Group, Inc. (World Alliance), Gregg Amerman Companies, Inc. (Amerman Inc.), and Zero Doubt, LLC (Zero Doubt). (CFTC v. Amerman, et al., No. 1:07-CV-2280).

City Of São Paulo Sells Carbon Credits At BM&F For BRL 34 Million

The first carbon credit auction under the auspices of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), of the Kyoto Protocol, was carried out today at BM&F. The Exchange auctioned off 808,450 carbon credits held by the Bandeirantes Landfill Gas to Energy Project of the São Paulo Municipal Government. The European Fortis Bank NV/SA bought the lot at € 16.20 per metric ton of carbon. SEC Brings Fraud Charges Against San Francisco Hedge Fund Manager

The Securities and Exchange Commission today charged a San Francisco hedge fund manager with defrauding investors by dramatically overstating the fund's profitability and misusing fund assets. The Commission alleges that Alexander James Trabulse sent account statements to investors in his Fahey Fund that inflated the fund's returns by as much as 200 percent, while using investor money to purchase cars and finance shopping sprees for his family members.
