The KFX Index continues to rise and reached its 4th high in July. The KFX Index closed at 310.84. The KFX Index has gained 8 per cent in the course of July and 44 per cent compared with the corresponding day last year.

New values of indices calculated by Iceland Statistical Bureau become effective 01.Aug.2000. CPI for month of August is 200,1 (now 199,1) and CTI for month of August is 3951 (now 3931). Intra-month daily adjustment used by Iceland Stock Exchange will be 6,196% p.a. for the CPI and 6,279% p.a. for the CTI until the end of the month.
Amsterdam Exchanges Waives Decision On Management Share

Amsterdam Exchanges has taken notice of the update on the financial position of Management Share. Due to the plan in progress we have presently waived a decision to place Management Share on 'special listing conditions'. This is conditional upon the fact that ultimately at the end of August Management Share can demonstrate that it has improved shareholders' equity in order that the net asset position of the company remains positive.
