    Following the successful introduction of the FTSE All-World Index, FTSE has now completed the first interim review of all new constituents included in the FTSE All-World Index. A further 27 stocks will be added to the FTSE All-World Index after the close of business on 21 July 2000.

  • CBOT Board Approves July 20 As Launch Date For CBOT Dow JonesSM Transportation, Utility, And Composite Average Futures

    The Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT®) today announced that the Board of Directors approved July 20th as the launch date for futures contracts on the Dow Jones Transportation AverageSM, the Dow Jones Utility AverageSM, and the Dow Jones Composite AverageSM. Contracts on the Dow Jones Transportation AverageSM and the Dow Jones Utility AverageSM have received regulatory approval. Contracts on the Dow Jones Composite AverageSM are pending regulatory approval.

  • Amsterdam Exchanges' Monthly Statistics June 2000 - Sharp Rise In Turnover At Stock Market

    June saw high levels of turnover on Amsterdam Exchanges' markets. As in May, Euro.NM Amsterdam reported the largest increase, with the number of transactions jumping more than 50% compared with June 1999. The rise in turnover in shares and bonds was less substantial, but as a whole the number of transactions conducted on Amsterdam Exchanges' stock market grew 38% to almost 1.8 million.

  • Tel Aviv Stock Exchange Chairman Yair Orgler Elected Next President Of The International Options Markets Association

    The International Options Markets Association (IOMA) announced that Professor Yair Orgler, chairman of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange was selected as president-elect of the International Options Markets Association. Mr. Orgler will take office in 2003; following the term of Mr. Otto Naegeli of Eurex. Until then, he will serve as president-elect and as a member of the association's executive committee. Mr. Orgler, who is 60 years old, has been chairman of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange since 1996.
