In conjunction with the shorter trading hours on the Xetra electronic trading system, Deutsche Börse will calculate its equity indices from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. CET as of November 3. The closing level of the equity indices is based on the Xetra closing auction, which begins at 5:30 p.m. CET.

Standard & Poor's will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Venture Composite Index after the close of trading on Tuesday, October 7, 2003: The ticker symbol for International PBX Ventures Ltd. will change from "IVU" to "PBX." There is no change in the company's name or CUSIP number and there is no consolidation of capital. The company is classified as a "Mining Exploration and Development" company.
