(CME) today announced that GLOBEX2 electronic trading of interest rate and foreign exchange products will conclude at 2 p.m. CST today, rather than 4 p.m. as previously announced. The special early closing time is in response to input from customers and member firms. A total volume of CHF 97,394 million was traded on SWX in August, 2.0 percent less than the month before. The total comprises CHF 76,327 million in equities (including funds), CHF 15,158 million in bonds, CHF 2,629 in derivatives, CHF 310 in Exchange Traded Funds and CHF 2,970 in Eurobonds.
