Terna SPA Extraordinary Dividend In The S&P/MIB Index

Terna SPA (Italy, ISIN IT0003242622), which is to be added to the S&P/MIB Index on 20 September 2004, has announced it is to pay an interim dividend of EUR 0.045 (please refer to the Borsa Italiana announcement no 9528 of September 7, 2004). The FTSE Europe, Middle East and Africa Regional Committee met today and has confirmed the results of the quarterly review for the FTSE UK Index Series, which includes the FTSE 100, FTSE 250, FTSE Small Cap and FTSE All-Share indices. August saw further year on year increases in trading volumes across the London Stock Exchange’s markets, with a 22 per cent increase on the same month last year in value traded and a 20 per cent increase in the number of trades.
