SEC Votes To Mandate Electronic Filing Of Ownership Reports - Prohibit Improper Influence Of Auditors

The Securities and Exchange Commission today voted to require that reports by insiders disclosing their securities holdings be filed electronically with the SEC. The Commission also voted to adopt rules prohibiting company officials from improperly influencing auditors of financial statements.

Nymex To Reduce Margins On Crude Oil And Petroleum Product Futures

The New York Mercantile Exchange, Inc., announced today that it will decrease the margins on seven of its crude oil futures contracts, e-miNYsm crude oil futures, heating oil futures, New York harbor heating oil swap futures, unleaded gasoline futures, and New York harbor gasoline swap futures at the close of business tomorrow.
