    Based on the April 29 market close, the CBOT®30-Day Federal Funds futures contract for the May 2003 expiration is currently pricing in a 19 percent probability that the FOMC will lower the target rate by at least 25 basis points from 1-1/4 percent to one percent at the FOMC meeting on May 6 (versus a 81 percent probability of no rate change).

  • Update In Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange Syariah Index Component

    The Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE) is updating the component stocks of the KLSE Syariah Index (KLSE SI) in line with the revised list of approved securities issued by the Syariah Advisory Council of the Securities Commission on 25 April 2003. The component stocks update to the KLSE SI will come into effect on Monday, 19 May 2003.

    TIFFE (The Tokyo International Financial Futures Exchange) has officially announced to list JPY Swapnote TM which has been jointly developed with Euronext.liffe, ICAP, and AVM, on May 9h. The contracts which will be listed at launch will be the 5-year and the 10-year contracts, covering the mid-to-long-terin markets.
